PRIMARY HEALTH CARE BOARD GETS PRODUCTIVITY MERIT AWARD FOR EXCELLENCE PERFORMANCE IN HEALTH CARE SERVICE DELIVERY.

The Lagos State Primary Health Care Board (PHCB) has been awarded Productivity Merit Award by Lagos State Government for excellent job performance, comprehensive and sustainable Health Care Service Delivery in Lagos State for the year 2019.

Receiving the Award from Head of Service of Lagos State Civil Service; Mr. Hakeem Muri Okunola, Permanent Secretary of PHCB Dr. Olugbemiga Ayoola Aina was full of gratitude to the Lagos State Government for the recognition of PHCB with Productivity Merit Award for the year 2019.

He stated that the Award is a great testimony to the hard-working staff of PHCB and as well a challenge to PHCB to do more excellent Health Care Service Delivery in Lagos State, predicated on the fact that the service of PHCB covers the entire length and breadth of the State, particularly the masses in the grass root in all the 57 LGAs and LCDAs of the state as well as the influx of people from neighboring States that attends PHCB facilities daily for medical services.

Dr. Aina added that since Health Care Service Delivery is the second item in the THEMES agenda of Mr. Governor; Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu administration, PHCB will continue to render efficient, effective and sustainable Health Care Service Delivery to the good people of Lagos state, irrespective of tributes and political affiliation.
