The newly appointed Permanent Secretary of Lagos State Primary Health Care Board visits Primary Health Care Centers in the State
Dr. Ibrahim Akinwunmi Mustafa, the newly appointed Permanent Secretary of Primary Health Care Board embarks on a visit to all the Primary Health Care Centers in the State.
The purpose of the visit is to get himself familiarized and know the state of the Primary Health Care Centers (PHCCs) in the State in order to know how the State Government can come to their aid.
PHCC is the grass root of health care in every nation, giving health tips, supports, and sensitization to the community.
There is a say that, once the base is strong the top will be free of stress and stand the test of time. This implies that once the society is able to get the health care right at Primary Health Care level then lots of diseases and sickness will be overcome and avoidable and this makes the society free of health issues. Little will the Secondary and Tertiary Health Institutions have to do.
The visit of the PS (Dr. Ibrahim Akinwunmi Mustafa) is a continuous exercise with the Directors and Head of Units of Primary Health Care Board until the whole centers are covered.
Below are the picture clips of the visit made to the Onigbongbo LCDA Secretariat on Tuesday 16th and Agboyi Ketu PHC on 18th February 2021.
