SAMPLE MANAGEMENT TRAINING FOR LAGOS STATE MEDICAL LABORATORY STAFF

A 3-day Sample Management Training for Medical Laboratory Focal Persons at LGAs, DSNO, and Selected State Laboratory Staff commenced today 23rd January 2024 at the Lagos Chambers of Commerce Ikeja, Lagos.

The training program is aimed to enhance the capabilities of the State in detecting and monitoring epidemic-prone diseases and other public health events at the Sub-Natioanl level.

The training will further strengthen the State’s capacity for the appropriate collection, handling, packaging, and transportation of biological specimens.

The training will also focus on creating a pool of trainers to ensure safe sample management in the State.
