Dr. Erinosho A.E.

Dr. Erinosho Ashimiu Eniola is presently the Director, Medical services & Disease Control, Lagos State Primary Health Care Board. He was born on October 18, 1961 at Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria. He is married with four children.

 Dr. Erinosho attended Salvation Army Primary school, Ebute metta, Lagos from 1967 to 1973; Ebenezer Grammar school, Abeokuta,  from 1973 -1978; St. Gregory’s College, Obalende, Ikoyi, Lagos, from 1979 – 1980; University of Ife, from 1980 to 1987 (M.B; Ch.B.) and University of Lagos, School of Post Graduate Studies, from 1998 – 1999 (Master in Public Health).

Dr. Erinosho did housemanship at University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital (UMTH) from 1988 to 1989 and participated in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Programme at Umaisha in the old Plateau State from 1989 – 1990.

Dr. Erinosho worked with some notable private hospitals in Lagos, namely Jordan Hospital, Orile and Adefemi Hospital Ikeja before joining the Lagos Local Government Service Commission as an Assistant Medical Officer of Health in October, 1985. His tour-of-service in the Local Governments took Dr. Erinosho to Ibeju Lekki LGA, Lagos Mainland LGA, Ikorodu LGA, Ikeja LGA, Oshodi Isolo LGA and Ifako Ijaiye LGA where he served as the Medical Officer of Health.

Dr. Erinosho was appointed as the pioneer Secretary of the Lagos State Primary Health Care Board on November 28, 2008. He served in that capacity until his deployment to the Lagos State Ministry of Health on august 6, 2013.

While in the Ministry of Health, Dr. Erinosho served as the Head of Research & Statistics, in the Directorate of Health Care Planning, Research & Statistics from August 6, 2013 to March 30, 2015. He was appointed as the Director of Disease Control, Lagos State Ministry of Health on March 31, 2015 and he was serving in that capacity until April 6, 2019 when he was deployed to the Lagos State Primary Health Care Board as the Director, Medical Services & Disease Control. A post he occupies till date.

Dr. Erinosho career has always been to serve as a Public Health Physician, in challenging work environments where opportunities for governance, mobilization, deployment and optimal utilization of available resources abound towards effective and efficient Health Care delivery to the people and actualization of the overall goals and objectives of any organization he serves.

Director, Planning, Research & Statistics

Dr. Giwa Taiwo is a Chief Medical Officer with vast experienced in the Unified Local Government Service before his appointment as Director Planning Research and Statistics.

Dr, Giwa Rahman Taiwo attended Salvation Army Primary School, Surulere, Ansar-Ud-Deen Grammar School, Surulere (WASC), Kings College, Lagos (HSC), University of Lagos, College of Medicine

(MBBS), and Lagos State University Post Graduate School (MPH).

In addition he has certification in:

  • Performance Based Financing (PBF) in Health Services (World Bank Model).
  • Human Resource Development for Rural Community Health (JICA/Japan).
  • Several Leadership and Administrative courses.

He is a member of several Professional Associations:

  • Nigeria Medical Association.
  • Medical Guild.
  • Former Chairman, Association of Medical Officers of Health, Lagos State.

He has served the State in many Committees.

Director, Environmental Health Services

Sanitarian Sobande Olawale Abayomi is Director, Environmental Health Services (PHCB).

He hails from Abeokuta, Ogun State, Abeokuta North

He attended OUS Primary School Ikereku, Abeokuta between 1971-1976, Ans-sar-Ud-Deen Grammar School Isaga Orile, 1976-1981, he later proceeded to Ogun State College Health Technology 1985-1988 where he obtained HND in Environmental Health, University of Nigeria, Nsukka, 2004, B.Sc. in Health Education and Ladoke Akintola University of Technology 2014 where he bagged  Masters in Environmental Health Management.

He joined the Civil Service in Ogun State as Health Superintendent in training in 1988, at then Ifo/Ota LG.

He later transferred his service to Lagos State Local Government Service Commission in 1996.

He worked in various Local Government both in Ogun and Lagos State before he was moved via the state policy into the mainstream in 1996. While in the State Civil Service, he served in various capacities as Assistant Director; Occupational Health and Safety Ministry of Health, Deputy Director State Environmental Monitoring (MOH). Director Environmental Monitoring Ministry of Local Government and Community Affairs before he was deployed to PHCB to take over as the Director Environmental Health Services.

Director, Pharmaceutical Services

Pharm. Adeosun Shakirat

Adeosun Shakirat was born in Lagos on 15th July 1972. She attended Air Force Primary School Ikeja, Federal Government Girls’ College Shagamu, Ogun State and Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife, Osun State where she studied Pharmacy.

She holds a Masters of Clinical Pharmacy degree from the University of Lagos and is a Fellow of the West African Post Graduate College of Pharmacists.

Pharm. Adeosun was employed by the Lagos State Health Service Commission in October 2001. She has worked in various hospitals including General Hospital Badagry, Apapa General Hospital, Alimosho General Hospital Igando, General Hospital Odan, Lagos and General Hospital Mushin.

She is currently the Director of Pharmaceutical Services, Lagos State Primary Health Care Board. She is a team builder, highly motivated and enterprising Pharmacist. She has been able to change the face of Pharmacy practice with her knowledge and innovations. Her leadership skills, high level of professionalism has enabled her to direct, motivate and train the Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians she coordinates to work in line with the vision of the Lagos State Government and improve Pharmaceutical Service delivery at the Primary level of Care. She is a facilitator, master trainer and an advocate of conducive work climate.

Pharm. Adeosun is a member of many professional and Islamic bodies including the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN), Association of Lady Pharmacists (ALPS). Association of Hospital and Administrative Pharmacists (AHAPN), International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP), Nigerian Association of Pharmacists and Pharmaceutical Scientists in the Americas (NAPPSA), Muslim Medical Volunteers (MMV). She has attended many local and international conferences and workshop and is a certified Supply Chain Expert.

Pharm. Adeosun is a multiple award winner including Appreciation Award from the Lagos State Primary Health Care Board, Merit Awards from Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria Lagos State Branch, Association of Lady Pharmacists (National and Lagos State branch), and many Islamic organizations.

She loves reading, mentoring and meeting people.

Director, Health Education

Mrs. Owojuigbe Clara
(DHE)

MRS OWOJUYIGBE CLARA MODUPE attended University of Lagos where she obtained M.Sc. Public Health in 2014. She also attended Lagos State University and obtained B.Sc. Health Education in 2002.

She attended a certificate course as a Family Planning Provider in LUTH in 1990. Earlier, she attended Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital School of Nursing, Ile-Ife where she qualified as a Registered Nurse (RN) in 1989 and Ondo State School of Midwifery, Akure where she qualified as a Registered Midwife (RM) in 1986.

She joined the Lagos State Local Government Service Commission in 1991 as a Staff Nurse-Midwife on Grade Level 08 and rose to the post of a Chief Matron in 2006. She was posted to act as Health Educator after her graduation from year 2004 to 2008 before she was officially converted from Nursing Cadre to Health Education Officers Cadre in 2008.

She has worked in various LGAs as a Nurse and Health Education Officer. She is presently an Assistant Director, Health Education. She is the Director in Charge of Directorate of Health Education Services of the Lagos State Primary Health Care Board, the post she assumed in July 2014.

She attended Holy Trinity Primary School, Kano. Federal Government Girls College Kazaure, Higher National Diploma (HND) with two awards as best graduating student at Federal Polytechnic, Ado Ekiti.

Her professional degrees Medical Laboratory Sciences ABUTH/Zaria Medical Laboratory Sciences LUTH/Lagos.

Her working experiences range in various private and public sectors with versatility at standardized and structural enigmatic mentorship.

Key player in quality improved services, in the Medical Laboratory services, social and humanity. The pioneer head and Director Medical Laboratory services, Lagos State Primary Healthcare Board.

Her experiences span through Blood Banking, Voluntary blood Donor recruiter, immunology. Attended various training workshops of notable enhancement. Team lead Laboratory during Ebola outbreak in depth management of Veterinary, Plant and Human Biology’s having also focus on molecular diagnosis of diseases.

She is also a member of Association of Medical Laboratory Services, Blood Bank Society of Nigeria. The Red Cross Society of Nigeria. A passionate, dedicated committed and empathic leader with interest in research, travelling and reading.

Mr. JIMOH SHAFIRIU ADEKUNLE OLUWATOMISIN is the head and Director of Public Affairs Lagos State Primary Health Care Board. He holds BSc Mass Communication from University of Lagos and Master Degree in the same Institution.

Mr. JIMOH SAO is a member of Nigerian Institute of Public Relations NIPR and also a member of Union of Journalist.

MR. RASHEED OLOYEDE KOSOKO attended Stepping Stone Nursery and Primary Satellite Town, Command Day Secondary School, Ojo and Lagos State University, Ojo, graduated with B. Sc. in Economics/ Education. Currently deployed to Lagos State Primary Health Care Board, Planning, Research and Statistics (PRS) Unit as the Board’s Budget Officer. He is married and blessed with children.

Mr. Oluyide Olatunji
Head, Quality Assurance

Mr Oluyide Olatunji was born on the 5th May 1987.

He is an erudite and knowledgeable young man. He began his formal education in Fountain School after which he has his secondary education in International School Lagos, His interest for health led him to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health in 2008 from Babcock University Nigeria, he then commenced to further his education at the prestigious Imperial College London Business School in the United Kingdom where he attained an MSc International Heath Management in 2010. 

After his MSc, Mr Olatunji was appointed into the Lagos State Civil Service and deployed to the State Ministry of Health where he was further deployed to the Lagos State Primary Health Care Board. He was assigned the role of the State PHC Revitalisation Project Officer between 2012-2015. In this capacity he coordinated the revitalisation of 9 comprehensive PHCs in line with the State Executive Councils recommendations. In 2015 He was assigned the role of Head, Quality Assurance Unit of the Lagos State Primary Health Care Board with the mandate of initiating policies and programs that will improve quality of health service provision and standards which he has held till date.

In June 2019, Mr Olatunji was selected as a Nigerian delegate to Japan to participate in a Knowledge Co-creation program for Health Managers with the aim of studying the successes of the Japanese Health System and develop intervention strategies that can be adopted in the Nigerian system.

In October 2019, Mr Olatunji was part of a 4-man team that participated in the Lagos Business School Management Development Institute Program for the implementation of Community Health Intervention Project.

Mr. OGUNYINKA CHARLES OLAJIDE heads Information Communication Technology Unit of Lagos State Primary Health Care Board.

He hails from Iloti, Ijebu-Ode LGA in Ogun State.

He holds Higher National Diploma from Lagos Polytechnic and his Ordinary National Diploma from Osun State College of Technology, Esa-Oke Osun State.

He has a certificate in Radio, Television and Electronics from Federal Technical College Yaba which is now known as Federal Science and Technical College Yaba.

He had his Primary Education at Ire-Akari Model Primary School Ishaga, Isolo and his Secondary Education at Metropolitan College Isolo both in Lagos State.

Mr. Ogunyinka Charles Olajide has worked in few Private Establishments such as Eleganza Nigeria Limited as Electronics/Electrical Technician, JCU & Associates as Information Technology Personnel just to mention few.

Mr. Ogunyinka Charles Olajide is a Chartered Member of Computer Professionals Registration Council of Nigeria (CPN).
